Chairman

Lance Joseph

Founder of Iron Bridge, with more than 30 years of business, investment and development experience — investing his own funds in over 300 property transactions totalling over £2bn GDV. As Chairman, he provides strategic direction across all of Iron Bridge London's activities.

Lance Joseph

Lance is Iron Bridge London’s Chairman and Founder. He brings more than 30 years of business, investment and development experience to the team. He has invested his funds into each and every one of Iron Bridge’s investments comprising over 300 property development transactions with a combined GDV of over £2bn.

Prior to founding Iron Bridge, he was both CEO and a majority shareholder of the fully listed, award-winning GET Group plc (“GET”). GET was floated on the Main Market in 1995 and in 2006 Lance sold the Group to a Fortune 500 multinational. The Group achieved turnover of £100m employing 300 people in the UK. Among other achievements, Lance established factories in China growing to 6,500 employees together with a state-of-the-art 1,800,000 sq ft factory.

Lance grew GET Group to become the UK market leader across multiple innovative building and electrical product ranges, winning awards and supplying all UK and US Big Box DIY retail chains, as well as more than 3,000 wholesale trade accounts nationwide. His experience also includes company acquisitions of building and hardware manufacturers, all of which has been utilised to the benefit of Iron Bridge.

Lance holds a BSc in Economics and has undertaken postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School and Cranfield School of Management. Lance is a trustee and patron to various charities.

Edward Alexson

A Chartered Accountant with over 15 years in real estate, directly responsible for over £650m of GDV across the Iron Bridge group. As CEO, he leads the identification and execution of new acquisition and investment opportunities.

Edward Alexson

Edward is the CEO of Iron Bridge London, responsible for the oversight and execution of new acquisitions and investments. With over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry, Edward has been directly responsible for over £650m of GDV since joining Iron Bridge.

Prior to Iron Bridge, Edward held senior roles at Canada Life Investments, State Street Bank, and EY, gaining broad experience across investment analysis, real estate private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.

Edward has always had property in his blood, starting at Knight Frank from 16 years old working alongside his father, a successful London-based real estate agent and broker for the past 40 years.

Edward is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Masters in Real Estate Investment from Bayes Business School and received a BA with Honours in Industrial Economics.

David Dean

Formerly of Lloyds Banking Group, Octopus Real Estate, Silbury Finance and CapitalRise, where he managed over £1bn of real estate loans. He leads investment appraisal, bringing institutional credit expertise to every acquisition.

David brings extensive experience in real estate credit and investment, having held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Octopus Real Estate, Silbury Finance and CapitalRise where he managed over £1bn of loans and helped establish funding lines of over £300m, spanning development finance, portfolio management, and complex credit situations.

Alongside his professional experience, David has completed his own property developments, planning applications and investments, giving him a hands-on understanding of the development process and the challenges faced by developers.

David’s breadth of experience across lenders adds significant credit expertise and institutional depth to Iron Bridge London.

Oliver Pattni

Nine years in UK real estate finance spanning origination, underwriting and portfolio management. He oversees transactions through their full lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to completion.

Oliver is Project Director at Iron Bridge London, responsible for new business origination, underwriting and portfolio management across the full lifecycle of a transaction — from initial enquiry and structuring through to completion and ongoing oversight.

Having been with Iron Bridge for five years, he has developed a deep understanding of the business and plays a key role in driving new opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Prior to Iron Bridge, Oliver spent over four years at United National Bank in Mayfair, gaining experience across underwriting, credit risk analysis, and debt structuring on a wide range of UK real estate transactions.

Oliver graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from Bayes Business School.

Marc Delane

Construction specialist across residential, hotels and mixed-use schemes, delivering projects worth £15m–£100m for councils and developers.

Marc Delane

Marc is a construction and development specialist with extensive experience across a wide range of sectors, including residential, hotels, student accommodation, affordable housing, office, and retail.

Marc’s core development experience stems from his position as development director for Capital & Provident where he was responsible for the full development lifecycle from land acquisition and due diligence to planning, construction, investment, lettings, and sales.

Marc’s recent consultancy work has involved partnering with local authorities, private developers, and private equity investors to deliver mixed-use residential and commercial projects valued between £15m and £100m.

His clients have included several London borough councils and respected housing and development organisations, reflecting his strong track record in delivering complex, high-value schemes.

Jonathan Werth

Founded LIFE Residential in 2000, growing it to 170 staff across 13 global locations managing 4,000+ investment properties.

Jonathan Werth

Jonathan founded and was Managing Director of LIFE Residential, which specialised in Residential Sales, Lettings & Management of New-build properties.

He built the business from the ground up, eventually leading a team of 170 across 13 locations, 10 based in London and the others in Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Africa. LIFE managed a portfolio of 4000+ investment properties owned by Landlords all over the world. His partners in the business were City & Docklands and Galliard Homes, and his clients ranged from individual owners to the largest developers in London.

He brings with him a vast wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion in this sector, having successfully exited the business which is now owned by Dexters.

Co-Founder of Bureau de Change, an award-winning practice ranked 6th in the UK, known for forward-thinking architectural design.

Katerina is Co-Founder and Director of Bureau de Change, a multi-award-winning architecture practice known for its experimental forward-thinking approach to design, combining architectural discipline with innovation across spaces, buildings and environments.

Katerina trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture before joining Foster + Partners and later Heatherwick Studio, where she led the UK Pavilion for the Shanghai Expo, winning the Lubetkin Prize.

Bureau de Change has received recognition including RIBA Awards London (2024 Winner), Design Week Awards (2023 Winner) and Sunday Times Awars (2019 Winner) with work exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Their award-winning work had helped Bureau de Change to become the 6th ranked architect in the UK.

and equity funding for residential and mixed-use schemes across the UK.
